The game allows players to build their party from 15 different Squids in 4 classes: shooters, scouts, troopers, and healers. The turn-based battles require players to use strategy and skill, using the environment and their party's strengths to their advantage. The game features 90+ missions for more than 15 hours of gameplay, plus an expert Pro Mode that doubles the game length and provides extra challenge.
In addition, players can boost their heroes' abilities with 65+ barmy helmets. The game takes players through Greek citadels, tropical coral reefs, old West inspired towns and Japanese temples to save their underwater world. It is worth mentioning that no Squids were harmed during the making of this game.
